Pizza made at Button Bakery is just simply exquisite. The elements are basic: dough plus sauce, cheese and toppings. So just what makes our pizza so delicious? Well, our slowly fermented pizza dough is enriched with extra-virgin olive oil: our house cheese is our own blend of mozzarella and asiago; our proprietary sauce is complex and intense; and our carefully selected toppings are all top-quality. And when ready to bake, they are loaded into our world-class oven, a Polin Elettrodrago Avant from Verona, Italy.

Oran Rankin

Oran Rankin is a village baker who finds magic in the quiet early morning hours, working with natural sourdough culture to transform flour and water into nourishing bread. He taps into the deep traditions of the craft, from fermentation through scoring and baking loaves on stone oven decks. Together with his wife Sara, Oran strives to make Button Bakery an important part of their Evanston community.
